The Centre for a European Future

A home for new ideas

Who we are

The people of Ukraine and Belarus have chosen a European future. They want to secure their freedom and dignity within Europe’s democratic institutions. The Centre for a European Future supports their efforts across Europe and in North America.

We are committed to the freedom of Ukraine and Belarus and their membership in the European Union. We uphold these countries’ ambitions by presenting ideas, arguments, and projects for the wider European community of democratic values. We are reimagining Eastern Europe.

Vision

We believe in a Europe where all citizens live in dignity and freedom, their human rights secured by the rule of law and a vibrant democracy, their prosperity guaranteed by a fair and sustainable economy. This Europe includes Ukraine and Belarus.

Mission

We build bridges across our wider European community by bringing together the people, the ideas, and the projects who are committed to a shared European future on both sides of the Atlantic.

Objectives

Our priorities are to support a renewal and strengthening of critical democratic institutions; a new range of policies for innovation and sustainable growth; an expansion of new skills across public institutions and the economy; a vast reconstruction of public infrastructure.

We aim to develop the ideas, institutions and practices that can support Ukraine and Belarus as they deepen their relations with the European Union and between themselves.

The Centre for a European Future is a new independent think-tank. We take no funding from any government.

We are looking for partnerships with recognised non-governmental organisations in Europe and North America who share our vision and our values.

Our ideas and proposals result exclusively from the free debate between our Founders, our Executive, our Researchers, and our Advisory Board.
